Lighting Resume

'Im a Senior B.F.A. Design, Technology, and Management student at Texas Tech University with a concentration in Lighting and Stage Management. Before studying at Texas Tech, did a year at Lone Star community college and worked as a Lighting Technical Advisor for Tomball High School, during their productions whenever needed I would get called to the high school to help the students. I would teach students how to use their equipment and how to troubleshoot their equipment.

Since moving to Lubbock, I've gained even more valuable experience surrounded by peers and staff as exited and passionate about what we get to do, both with the School of Theatre & Dance and working at the Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and Sciences.I spent the summer of 2024 at the New London barn Playhouse as the Stage Management Intern, which involved working within two Stage management Teams and two shows on my own. I got to work with a lot of incredible people and learn from them and it helped to better prepare myself for the professional world.

I am most proficient in ETC Eos and Strand consoles, but I'm eager and quick to slot into new roles. Vectorworks is a work-in-progress. I've been around the block in Qlab and Ableton Live

Outside of the theater, I do a little bit of anything depending on the day I spend a lot of time painting and drawing, I have small side hustles that are also hobbies, I do some tailoring, haircuts, and some furniture flipping . I understand that having a varied skillset makes me that much more of a valued applicant, designer, and technician in my work everywhere I go and my hobbies only add to my skillset.I believe in the power of storytelling through light and design, and emerging the audience in world completely separate from their own letting them forget their worries for a little while as they get to live in the moment with us.
